Dr. Steven Fonte is an assistant professor of Agroecosystem Ecology at Colorado State University. His research is conducted largely in collaboration with farmers and other stakeholders in many countries and addresses how agricultural management affects long-term productivity and multiple ecosystem services across a range of farming contexts. More specifically, this work examines diverse aspects of soil health, with special attention to management impacts on soil structure, biota, water movement, and organic matter dynamics
